Meet Andy

Andy Bixler has diverse connections and deep experience across the West.

Andy is a strategic communications professional with extensive experience serving clients and principles across the West including U.S. Senators and state legislative leadership, renewable energy and manufacturing firms, local governments, small businesses, political campaigns, and more. He leads projects that shape narratives and propel movements, and specializes in crafting and implementing strategic campaigns to help his clients achieve their goals.

Before founding Westslope Strategies, Andy served in senior roles on a number of statewide political campaigns for both state and federal office, as Communications Director for Colorado State Senate Democratic Caucus, and on Capitol Hill in the office of U.S. Senator Jon Tester.

Prior to government service Andy worked as a reporter for his hometown newspaper, the Missoulian, as well as the Tacoma News Tribune. An avid outdoorsman, Andy spends his free time trail running, skiing, fly fishing, and mountain biking, and he is deeply passionate about protecting the public lands and Western communities he grew up in.

Andy holds a BA in Journalism and MA in Political Science from the University of Montana, and he lives in Denver, Colorado with his wife, Megan, and their dog, Ruca.
